It's been a few years of relying on Cloud technologies like cloud file storage. Eventually we ran into a first serious glitch: Dropbox decided to silently erase 1282 files from a folder shared between two users in October and it's only keeping 30 days worth of file history. What comes to mind here is Mr Reagan's favorite Russian proverb "Doveryay, no proveryay" which means "Trust but double-check". Clouds are great till there's a problem up there induced by otherwise very convenient invisible work-force. If you don't have a backup down below on solid ground you might be stuck praying for heaven's help without much hope.
